Jon Griffin

I am an adjunct professor at the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at UNLV in the Dept. of Food and Beverage Mgmt. I have been teaching beer since 2005. You can follow me at faculty.unlv.edu/jgriffin and my beer site Ask The Beer Guy.

I am also a published author and expert on Cuban music and ethnomusicology. I run the site Salsa Blanca which is one of the oldest sites on the Internet and older than Google.

I studied at the Grove School of Music under Dick Grove, majoring in songwriting and then composing and arranging. I am currently available for freelance work doing film/video scores, arrangements and recording. I have record with some of the finest Cuban musicians in the world and am capable of writing in any style.

I am currently a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada but am always on the lookout for new places to live and visit. I have traveled to many countries, sometimes to study, other times to vacation. I always seem to study beer there and the local music scene.
