Joni Bryan

Storyteller, Technologist, and Nonprofit Consultant in Denton, Texas

I am a social impact storyteller helping nonprofits use data to tell their stories of empowerment, compassion, inspiration, and change! An advocate committed to building the capacity of social impact organizations through strategic alignment, technology, and community engagement, I bring a diverse range of approaches to the work of organizations, helping to align mission and vision with resources and technology. I have spent the past 20 years heavily involved in social activism and community building, including co-founding two nonprofit organizations.

Personally, as a queer woman, wife, and mother to a daughter and two sons, I am passionate about equality and making the world a better place through social justice and human rights activism. I'm a mobilizer, a vision-caster, and an awe-filled student of the world around me. I believe in meeting hate with love, and in meeting anger with compassion. I believe in the transformative power of community, in rising up against and denouncing oppression in all its forms, and in amplifying the voices of the marginalized. I am an avid documentary-watcher, and a burgeoning documentarian making my first film now. My pronouns are she/her.

My personal mission is: To reflect hope, disrupt oppression, amplify marginalized voices, and discover common ground through #lovestories.
