Jonnie Alvarez Payoyo was born July 21, 1989 in Talavera, Nueva Ecija. His parents, Demetrio Domingo Payoyo and Yolanda Mahayag Alvarez, have greatly molded him to become the person he is now.
He took basic, secondary and tertiary education at Talavera Central Elementary School, Talavera National High School, and Central Luzon State University (CLSU) respectively. He was awarded Honorable Mention in high school and Best Student Teacher, Liderato Awards Student Leader of the Year, and Sibol Awards Student Leader of the Year.
It could be surmised that Jonnie's life as a student was spent with so much passion for leadership and in educating the youth.
Since becoming a licensed teacher, he has already worked as Staff at CLSU Office of the Vice-President for Academic Affairs and as Instructor at Wesleyan University - Philippines. Currently, he is Teacher 1 at his alma mater, Talavera National High School.
Apparently, he also takes part in other endeavors that greatly benefit his town. He is active member of GNO Youth Ministry, Director of Committee on Community Service at Rotaract Club of Cabanatuan, and Archivist at Order of the Knights of Rizal.
Among his hobbies is reading newspaper and Filipino books.
