After a spell in academia and in the corporate world of a major ISP, I now find myself running my own webdesign and consulting business, Iconix.

When I'm not poring over HTML or CSS, or trying to translate my client's ideas into something that's as near to tangible as is possible in the online world, I'll probably be reading, taking photographs, voraciously listening to music, trying to complete a cryptic crossword, purveying puns, writing, or working on my own pet side projects.

I have a medical condition which makes me vulnerable to carrot cake and cheesecake.
