Hi,
My name is Jonn Ryan. I’m 29 years of age. I’ve been diagnosed with HIV since my birthday May of 2010. I’ve also been “out” since the age of ten. I’ve had my share of success in love, life, and finding myself. However, I have also had my failures in the same respect. I feel without heart break you cannot achieve love. Without failure, ultimately you cannot not achieve success. If someone doesn’t loose, there could be no winner. For me my saving grace has been my ability to cope, adapt and change to survive whatever “lemons” have been thrown my way. Did I make lemonade? No never, that’s a basic way of thinking. What I did in my own life was turn the essence of that fruit into lemon zest and I used that taste to flavor my life. Through this blog I hope to capture your attention. My mission is to not change your mind but give insight or simply another vantage point in which you can view the world. You see between black & white there lies not only shades of grey, but a whole spectrum of colors so vivid you can almost taste them. Come with me on this journey. Grow as I grow. Share with me your experiences. Ask me for advice as from one poz to another or simply to gain a poz virtual reality. I’m not a scholar or a certified life coach, however I can school you based on my 19 years of experience living in this tall black gay body, and my 29 years of living on this earth. Though it might seem like a dead end, there is love and light at the end of the tunnel. All you have to do is open your eyes, but more importantly open your mouth and ask for the things that you want.
