Jonny Scoblionko

I am a senior at Rollins College and will be graduating in Spring 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies with a public relations concentration. At eighteen, I worked as a public relations intern at Brotherly Love Productions, a south Florida music event production company where my duties included press releases for concerts and festivals as well on-site social media management. I interned at Catapult PR/IR, a Boulder, Colorado firm that specializes in B2B tech. My duties at Catapult included social media management for various clients, press releases, content and market analysis, and press list cultivation and outreach.

I have taken on similar duties during my time as the Special Events Coordinator for the Rollins radio station, WPRK. My other duties for the station included press outreach, leading teams of photographers, and organizing community outreach campaigns. I also coordinated the first concert to ever be held in Rollins’ historic theatre as a promotional event to spread awareness about the station and future events.

My passion is making people happy. Whether providing an unforgettable event experience or promoting a useful product or service, if something provides me with joy, I work tirelessly to share that joy with others.
