Jon Purkis

Hi, I’m Jon Purkis. I’m a comedy writer.

I wrote the BBC2 sitcom Popatron. I’ve also written jokes for a BBC1 Saturday night entertainment show and sketches for Channel 4. I have written sitcom scripts for Comedy Central UK and Comedy Central US.

In 2011, I was named a Broadcast magazine HotShot in the writers’ category.
