Jon Sundt

Jon Sundt serves as the chief visionary officer of Natural High, formerly the Sundt Memorial Foundation, which he founded in 1994. This 501(c)(3) nonprofit helps young people discover their true passions, enabling them to eschew drugs and alcohol in favor of achieving their life goals. Ever since losing both his brothers more than 20 years ago, Jon Sundt has been fiercely passionate about finding ways for young people to avoid or beat addictions, and he wants to dispel the myths surrounding drug and alcohol use in America. As the leader of Natural High, he works with drug-free celebrity role models, giving them the chance to share their stories and illustrate how the good choices they made have led to their success.

More recently, Jon Sundt founded Altegris, where he serves as chairman. Since 2002, Altegris has sought strong alternative investment opportunities and helped people diversify their portfolios. Mr. Sundt helped set up an organization with a clear plan for evaluating each and every investment opportunity, developing a strategy spanning several types of investment instruments. He led the company’s sale to Genworth, a Fortune 500 company, in 2010 and was instrumental in its later sale, in 2013, to Aquiline and Genstar.
