Jon Vidar

Jon is a Los Angeles native who maintains a constant foothold in his home city, while remaining a passionate traveler, explorer, digital pioneer, photographer and writer. During the past 10 years, his travels have taken him to six continents, with work including archaeological excavations in Turkey and Greece, running new media training programs in Rwanda and Iraq, and writing and photographing for Modern Overland in South Africa.

He is currently the Executive DIrector for both The Tiziano Project (which has been recognized by the Webbys, SXSW, the Gracies, and many more for The Tiziano Project | 360 Kurdistan) and Counterspill (a project that counters industry spin around energy disasters through mass-consumable media).
