Joona Kallio

Joona has nearly 20 years of professional design experience working in a wide range of branding, user interface development, product concepts and designs. This Japan-raised, Finland living entrepreneur-designer turns bold visions into reality. Joona has been involved with Solu Machines from the very beginning and his visionary design can be seen throughout the Solu Hardware and Software.

He has strong marketing background, worked in several positions in Design, Digital and Creative industries in Finland. Joona has established his own Creative agency Jay Style Ltd. and a become co-fouder of Clean tech oriented company Nikola Consulting & Communications Ltd. Joona has developed and contributed several years in nonprofit Open Source Hardware project eCars-Now!, to develop standardized electric conversion kit for conventional passenger cars.

Joona lived most of his childhood in Japan, soaked in the advanced technology environment, as well as in visually rich landscape. He holds Advertising Graphic Artist's Degree (MG) from The Institute of Marketing Helsinki and Vocational Qualification in Technical Design from Helsinki City College of Technology.
