Joop Snijder

I'm Dutch and live in Arnhem, The Netherlands. After graduating in Information Technology I pursued a career in software development and project management. My parttime day job is researcher/project manager at Info Support.

I love to capture beauty in nature and being out there. It really excites me when the light is right and the conditions are perfect. Landscape is my passion. I'm also a dog trainer and I use that experience in photographing these adorable pets.

I'm self taught with a lot of help from the internet, especially from all kind of blogs, Flickr and magazines like Practical Photography. As well as landscapes and pets I like to shoot people - environmental and studio portraits. Currently I'm developing my own portfolio and improving my skills.
