Joo Young Joung is a creative graphic designer living in Columbus, Ohio. He earned an Associate of Science degree in safety and health from Eulji University, Korea.

After graduation and two years of military service, he started working on diverse jobs such as a restaurant server, a hospital clerk, a bookstore clerk, a delivery driver, and even as a construction worker. However, whenever he came back home from his daily work, he cast a doubt on his career choice. “Is this my ideal job?” “I want something I really love.” He was a big fan of a wide range of independent films and commercials, and he wanted to contribute his talent and unique ideas in creating influential designs and advertisements that can touch and change people’s lives. Finally, he made a major switch to advertising and graphic design when he was in his mid twenties. He started studying for his BFA in Advertising & Graphic Design at Columbus College of Art and Design, and now only a few years later he has his own design portfolio and is developing his career. He is currently interested in branding and UX design, but he wants to extend his career to interactive media.
