I'm a Medill-trained multimedia investigative journalist and storyteller specializing in national security, the military, human rights and science. I have my own camera & audio equipment, and am ready, willing and able to travel to help tell your stories.

The inaugural graduate of Medill's National Security Journalism Specialization program, I have reported everywhere from Fort Bragg to Baltimore.I have reported for MilitaryTimes.com, USA Today (both print and online), the Association of the United States Army's AUSA News, UPI.com, McClatchyDC and more.

I serve as the Medill National Security Journalism Initiative's Digital Fellow, where I report on national security and human rights, run NationalSecurityZone.org and manage the NSJI's social media presence. I also work as a Night & Weekend Producer on the National Desk of Advance Digital, Inc., where I edit, produce and curate multimedia content for news sites across the United States, including NOLA.com & Syracuse.com.
