Hello! My name is Jordan Lauver and I am from a nomadic family of sorts, which has allowed me to live in a variety of places. Over the years, I have called Pennsylvania, Vermont, Virginia, and South Carolina home. My educational focus is currently geared towards earning my B.A. in English from Coastal Carolina University, a degree I will be completing in May 2015. Upon my graduation, I plan on pursuing a Masters of Arts in Teaching at Coastal Carolina University. I look forward happily to the world of teaching English at the secondary level.
Currently as part of my studies I am working on a thesis surrounding the notion of the secondary discourse of dating. This secondary discourse is explored through the world of dating apps and the hookup culture that is this secondary discourse in and of itself.
