Who am I? It's an evocative question, really, isn't it?

I'm a writer. I suppose. I've been writing for online magazines and webzines on and off for the past few years and in doing so have met some incredibly talented and very beautiful people.

I'm currently the head honcho of an independent music and culture webzine called Cat on the Wall; there, I speak to - and write about - all sorts of unusual, creative people working in music, design, performance arts, etc. etc. etc.

Our specialities are punk, goth, rock, alternative, experimental, folk, men painted purple, rockabilly, horror and basically anything that's guaranteed to make somebody shake their head at the state of youth today, or people who should know better.

I also act as the PR Scribe for the world famous Whitby Goth Weekend, which is basically my bi-annual homecoming.

I'm also well known for substantial mutton chops, a large collection of railway antiques and other oddities, top hats, tailcoats, waistcoats and a minor obsession with steam engines.

And a very posh voice. Like a slightly drunken Stephen Fry.

My other passions include art, animation, history, Isambard Kingdom Brunel and satire. And over-copious amounts of sarcasm.
