Jordan Miller

Student, Multiphysics Research Intern, and President of ASME in Arlington, Texas

Hire me

I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Texas at Arlington. I began working as a Multiphysics Research Intern with UTARI last summer, with the REU program funded by NSF. I have since given a poster presentation and co-authored a paper which describes a mathematical model of integrating carbon nanotubes with solid oxide fuel cell electrodes. I was also elected as the President of UTA's chapter of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) for 2018-2019.

Prior, I served as a Student Ambassador for the College of Engineering (COE) for two years. This position allowed me to gain experience working in a team setting while building my communication skills by presenting orientation sessions to incoming students. I was able to advocate the COE and make positive impacts on prospective students when visiting schools or giving tours.

I'm a member of the Honors College and am a recipient the Outstanding Freshman Scholarship.
