CURRENTLY: I'm a public relations strategist by day and writer by night, penning my thoughts on life and faith at This Beautiful Life, a blog that is near and dear to my heart. I love the strategy behind a communications plan that is tailored perfectly to a brand, but nothing brings me more joy than making sure what ends up on a client's desk reads well and doesn't include a single grammar error.

BEFORE: After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014, I tested the waters in content marketing and advertising before finding a perfect fit in public relations, where I work hard for a small agency that serves big clients. I got my start as a writer for The Daily Tar Heel as a political beat reporter. Later I moved into more longform journalism, working as an Editorial Intern at Chapel Hill Magazine and Four Seasons Magazine. My days poring over ink-soaked pages with copy edits are still some of the best, in my opinion.
