Jordan Essoe is an award-winning artist and writer who has exhibited and published internationally. Primarily a painter and performance artist, his practice broadened to include film, playwriting, and journalism. His work has been covered by NPR, the Los Angeles Times, and the San Francisco Chronicle. He was born in Los Angeles County, raised in a small town in the San Bernardino Mountains, and currently lives on the central coast of Oregon.
