Jordan Marshall

I took my first horseback riding lesson at the age of six, and haven't looked back since... I have been fortunate enough to have found something that I truely love to do, and decided to take the next steps in making it my career.

Throughout highschool I worked at a lesson and training barn, in which I took lesons, cleaning stalls. Durring my senior year I got the chance to complete a co-op class at the same barn, learning numerous things from how to fix the fence to the steps it took to breaking a young horse. Once graduation rolled around I decided to take a busines course that would give me a better understanding of the tasks needed to run my own successful horse farm.

I am now in my final year at Algonquin College taking a Business Management and Entrepreneurship program, while also taking online classes through Guelph University to gain a Certificate in Equine Business and a Diploma in Equine Science. After graduating from Algonquin College my goal is to further my education at Olds College in Alberta with a three year program in Equine Sciences; majoring in training and teaching and becoming a certified coach.

My goals are to take my education and work with numerous trainers and coaches around the world, furthering my experiences and networking before settling down and opening my own training facility.

I love to travel and meet new people, learn different cultures and hope to experience as much as I can that this world has to offer, hopefully aiding in my career path along the way.
