Jordan Older became the first American soccer player to join a team in Brazil's oldest professional soccer league, the 1st Division/Serie A1 of the Campeonato Paulista (Paulista Championship) in 1994 with União São João Esporte Clube. This is the same and only league that Pelé ever played in during his career in Brazil. Jordan Older has played professional soccer on 3 continents including the Brazilian 1st division and professional teams in Europe and the United states and was invited to, and participated in, the Team USA (full senior US National Team) training camp in December of 1994, invited by US National Team and USA World Cup Team head coach Bora Milutinovic.

Jordan Older is an environmental philanthropist who has also founded many companies including the Ventura Film Festival and several high tech corporations.
