Back my campaign

Hello, I'm Jordan and this page is to inform you about Net Neutral and an Open Internet. Net neutrality covers a lot of issues but one I'm going to focus on is the Open Internet.

Simply put "Open Internet" means that anyone can access any information on the internet as long as it is lawful.

Without Net Neutrality you can have a company such as an ISP dictate what speeds you can access certain websites at or simply filter out some content.

In the Philippines the ISP MEO charges their users for accessing packaged sites. If you want to use every app you would need to pay an extra 24.96 euro on top of your current subscription.

You can also simply click on the "Back my campaign" button to go to a simple guide on the Open Internet and what it means which was created by @mciarlo.

What you can do is send an email to your local representative and tell them your stance on the issue. After all they are meant to represent you.

The links bellow go to a youtube video by Burger King explaining net neutrality with Whoppers.

A twitter account run by a non-profit advocacy group that promotes digital rights.

Finally a Facebook group that keeps people informed about net neutrality.
