A staff physician and section chief in the Division of Otolaryngology with the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas, Dr. Jordan Pleitz performs surgeries related to head and neck cancer and addresses medical issues such as hearing loss or swallowing disorders. In addition, Dr. Jordan Pleitz serves as a clinical assistant professor with the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine.

Dr. Pleitz holds a summa cum laude bachelor of arts in biology from Baylor University and a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. He subsequently spent five years as a resident physician with the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Kentucky. Since 2011, Dr. Pleitz has given 16 presentations on topics related to conditions of the head and neck, and he has authored four scientific publications.

Outside his professional pursuits, Dr. Pleitz enjoys exercising and reading Stephen King novels. Active in the local Austin community, he supports Casa Marienella, which provides shelter and essential resources for displaced immigrants, and is a member of the Red Shoes Society, a physician group that support the Ronald McDonald House.
