I spent one year as a Web Programming Intern at Sign2Me.com. I have been studying Web Application Programming at Cascadia Community College for over three years now and learning many things by building websites for actual clients on the side.

I'm not sure yet what the utility of yet another social network is, but I'm sure I'll find out eventually. I am in the process of building my own website "about me" at JordanTeater.com. It has my portfolio of a few of the web designs that I've created along with other thing "about me". But clearly, these days, it's all about social networking. Well, maybe it's always has been about social networking, just previously without the computer.

I love what the background on this page means to me. It seems to call the mind back to a time of great creative and scientific progress. And yet the spirit of that age seems crumbled and grown over by neglect.

The eventual goal with my studies is to help improve eLearning's potential, to make learning in general far more "Accessible, Affordable and Amusing. I believe we were all born with an innate curiosity about the world around us. Sadly, many of contemporary education's methods have given too many people a laborious view of "study". Fortunately for our time, new methods are emerging on the web that rekindle the spark of exploration and discovery. I would be thrilled to play a part in nurturing this new life to fruition.
