Jordan Warford

I'm a graduate student based out of Dalhousie University. My research passion is Multiple Sclerosis (MS), specifically the role of combinatorial flavonoids as potential second-line therapeutic strategies. Thus far, our laboratory has demonstrated that specific combinations of flavonoids found in the peels of locally grown apples significantly reduces injury in experimental models of stroke, and we have recently shown that they possess anti-inflammatory benefit in a mouse model of MS.

My professional interests extend into the promotion of open access research, equipping lay audiences with accurate and accessible scientific information, and all things nerdy.

I am a husband, proud puppy owner, and a budding runner and cyclist. Feel free to tweet me if you share any of my scientific interests.
