“All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.” – J.R.R. Tolkien

Originally from Toronto, Canada, I grew up in the ‘burbs surrounded by the greatest family imaginable that encouraged me to think big, dream big, and never limit myself.

I was fortunate to attend Appleby College, and Western University on an academic scholarship. I then headed to Monaco to study at The International University of Monaco where I was awarded my MBA and also became their youngest student ever to graduate with such honors. Living in Monaco was sensational and I’ve become an avid Europhile and F1 superfan :)

I love traveling – I’ve lived in 5 countries and traveled to close to 50. I’ve worked as a Private Equity & Hedge Fund Analyst at a Greek private bank in Monte-Carlo and as a Hedge Fund capital-raiser in London, England. In fact, by the age of 26, I was running the EMEA cap-raising desk of a firm with multi-billions of dollars of assets raised.

I want a world in which we all fight for gender equality and empowerment. I put my stake in the ground in 2009 during a personally very difficult experience, by standing up to a bully and fighting for basic work rights.

This prolific and strengthening experience has propelled my vision and dreams forward, and pushed me (along with my cofounder, my brother Nathan) to launch our first startup, Kyro Capital.

My life’s philosophy is to stay curious, be kind, continue to learn and educate myself, and leave a lasting and positive impact on the lives of others. I’m currently a mentor through the San Francisco Police Department and’s Future Grads Tech Program.

I'm now focused on fintech and innovation in the financial services industry, specifically helping people take control of their financial future. You can find out more at

I've won a few awards, but the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Award made the largest personal impact on me.
