I spent 5 years leading product efforts at SMS where we built dozens of SKUs in just about every audio technology. One of the most exciting projects we undertook was in collaboration with Intel: The Biosport Bio-metric earbud. This earbud was the first to market with biometric capability and sparked a new trend in the industry. We also built SMS Audio Star Wars headphones, SMS Audio Bluetooth products (on-ear, in-ear, speakers), WeSC headphones, KidzSafe headphones and other private label audio products.
At Plugged I've continued building products I'm extremely proud of, especially our solution for Lightning. While our competitors lamented Apple dropping the headphone jack from the iPhone 7, we bet that it would be an opportunity to build entirely new experiences like our mobile, cinema-quality earbud, Bolt. This kind of innovation in the face of challenges is the work I'm most proud of.
