Jordi Vicenç Pou

Jordi V. Pou, born in Lleida (Catalonia/Spain) in 1968 still lives there working as a Professional photographer. He worked as a press photographer an image editor during the late 90´s for a newspaper in Spain and Andorra. Lately he established his own professional photo studio in Lleida.

His personal work is mainly in the shape of an intimate black and white photography, in most cases with a very urban theme, always closer to his usual environment. During the last decade this work has been awarded many times in Spain. His work has also been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions, and some of his photographs are in public and private collections.

Over the last years he has experimented with various elements and work spaces. His latest project, named Kokovoko, has a photoblog shape. He's been publishing a daily photo, made with a mobile phone, for more than three years now. Images from this mobile photography project were included in various international exhibitions throughout 2010 to 2012. He has been interviewed and showcased in different TVs and Newspapers and magazines like Playboy or GoMag.
