Jordyn Usselman

My name is Jordyn Usselman and I am currently an eleventh grade student at Dundas Valley Secondary School in Dundas, ON. I am greatly involved with the Global CONNECT program, something that really sets DVSS apart from other schools. It basically starts as a course encouraging students to be actively involved on a local and global scale then branches out as a separate program in students’ senior year with certain requirements that must be met. Global CONNECT has allowed me to gain leadership, planning, problem solving, and so many life-long skills through the inquiry-based setup.

Outside of school I am an all-star cheerleader and CIT (coach in training) at Cheer Sport Sharks. I also enjoy volunteering and travelling when I find the time. All in all, I would describe myself as dependable, responsible, passionate, and organized. I embrace what life has to offer and encourage others to do the same! :)
