Jorel Medayil

When I was in the 5th grade, my father brought home our first computer. It was an HP with a View Sonic Monitor. He handed it to me and said, " Here, set it up." From there I continued to be the go to guy for anything technology related. When it came time to go to college, I had no idea what I wanted to do and my parents wanted me to become a doctor. I was premed for about a year and a half. I had enough after taking Organic Chemistry. Around then is when a mentor I had at school told me about the IT field. I decided that I still wanted to graduate in 4 years so I did Economics with a minor in IT and Business. After graduating I had a hard time finding a job so I started working at an AT&T that my friend was a manager for. After working there for two years, my older cousin called me and asked me what I was doing with my life, he told me to go back to school because he saw potential in me and knew I was destined for something better. That's when I decided to go back to school for my Masters in Information Systems. Since then I have held various IT positions that has led me to love my career even more. Hi, I'm Jorel Medayil...
