I decided to continue upgrading my scuba diving certifications to a higher level. Due to my experience acquired in Cozumel, as a diver and photographer, I was able to network with different divers and dive shops in the state. It all started by bringing divers to Cozumel when I was going to visit my family. I invited them to come along. After doing this several times my friends suggested that I should create a website and offer guided trips to Cozumel. I thought it was a good idea but it was not going to pay the bills. Instead of offering the trips, I created a website to promote my underwater photos and the island of Cozumel.

I also began to offer guided dive trips to Cozumel where I taught divers how to shoot pictures underwater. Due to its success and after several times doing it, I came up with the idea of creating a magazine to promote Cozumel and dive trips. Because of all the knowledge I acquired on computers during my work at AT&T and by self learning through books and websites, today I have already published 4 issues and the magazine is being sold in various countries. It is not a large profit but people are starting to recognize my magazine.
