Jorge Ayala

Forest engineer in Washington State, USA

Forest Engineer specializing in soil management, reforestation, and ecological restoration.

My work focuses on helping forests and landscapes remain productive, resilient, and sustainable for future generations. I currently lead soil and reforestation programs for a multinational environmental and forestry company.

Over the years, I have lived and worked across a wide range of environments throughout Chile—from the Atacama Desert to Patagonia—as well as in Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil, and now the Pacific Northwest. These experiences have shaped my appreciation for the relationship between people, landscapes, and the places they call home.

Outside of work, I enjoy photography, writing, music, travel, and exploring the stories that make every place unique.

I believe some of the best conversations happen over coffee, on long drives, or while discovering a new corner of the world.

Always happy to connect.
