Jorge Corante
Jorge Corante’s ability to deliver complete songs virtually overnight has earned him the trust of Hollywood’s top music supervisors. He recently Co-wrote and produced an original song for Ben Affleck’s 2nd directorial endeavor “THE TOWN” (2010) and composed music for the new season of Keeping up with the Kardashians on E! TV. Other recent credits include Co-writing the track “The MC Remix” with underground Japanese rapper RYUZO featured in the film “Ninja Assassin,” directed by James McTeigue (of V for Vendetta.) Corante also scored his 1st documentary film “Dirt! The Movie” which was an official selection of the 2009 Sundance Film Festival. Born in Chile, he moved to the U.S. with his family and grew up in the suburbs of Boston, MA. Corante began his music career by producing records at a young age, working with a diverse range of multi-platinum artists from Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul and K-Ci & JoJo, to name a few. In 2001, he made the move to California and built his own private recording studio located in the hipster Los Angeles community of Echo Park. In 2003 Corante landed the opportunity to write and produce six original songs for the film Scary Movie 3. Additional credits include writing and producing songs and composing music for The Proud Family movie (Disney,) Jump in! (Disney,) Big Momma’s House 2 (20th Century Fox,) CSI: Miami (CBS) and MTV’s The Real World. Currently, Jorge continues to compose music and write original songs for film and television as well as developing the careers of emerging young artists.
