Jorge Gorostiza

I have designed and built many buildings and developed town planning works.I have published numerous articles on cinema and architecture in magazines and in several collective volumes. Author of, among other books, Cine y Arquitectura (1990), Peter Greenaway (1995), Directores artísticos del cine español (1997), La imagen supuesta (1998), Constructores de quimeras (1999), La arquitectura de los sueños (2001 ), Blade Runner (2002) and David Cronenberg (2003), the latter two with Ana Pérez, as well as La profundidad de la pantalla: Arquitectura + Cine (2007) y Panorámicas urbanas: 50 películas esenciales sobre la ciudad (2016). I was the director of the Canary Film Archive between 2000 and 2005. Keynote Speaker at the international congress Inter [sections] in Oporto (2013). I have lectured on architecture and cinema at numerous institutions and universities in Spain, Chile, Costa Rica and Peru; and I have been a jury in many film festivals and curator of exhibitions.
