Jorge Pallares

Jorge Pallares is a current undergraduate student at Texas Tech’s Rawls College of Business, who is working on acquiring a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Jorge has had multiple jobs but his two most recent were during the years of 2012 and 2013. While at ALCO Discount Store and Lariat Trading Company, Professional Mud Transportation, he learned to worked in a fast paced environment, gained efficient sales tactics and knowledge, and enhanced his interpersonal skills by working with customers and employees. All important factors leading his decision to pursue a degree in the Marketing industry.

On top of being a hard worker, Jorge was involved in multiple high school organizations. He was able to maintain a superb grade point average while juggling a job and extra-curricular activities. His senior year of high school he served as the vice president of the class and president of the school’s National Honor Society chapter. Jorge is a natural leader who will not stop at until the job is accomplished.
