Global Finance Executive
Jorge is an accomplished senior finance executive with a consistent record of promotion and progressively greater roles of responsibility for a Fortune 50 global organization. He brings multiple years of Fortune 50 experience directing FP&A, Business, Supply Chain and Commercial Finance, and Risk Management functions on Corporate, Global, and Local scales with accountability for as much as ~$5Bn Net Revenue, ~$1Bn Operating Profit, ~$6Bn FCF and ~$4Bn Capex utilizing strategic and hands-on skills.
Professional Contribution Highlights:
- Led PEP Capex governance and strategy for proposals $20mm+, optimizing project valuations, DCFs (i.e., IRR, NPV, Payback, Discounted Payback), Capital Structure modeling and other financial analyses collaborating globally with teams in finance, SCF, sales/marketing, food service, M&A, and more; successfully led monthly Capex Committee processes/meetings with C-Suite that led to the approval of ~90 projects per year.
- Managed and consolidated capital expenditure budget of ~$4Bn, ensuring partnership with sector finance leadership teams to deliver execution of budgets and projects.
- Managed and forecasted OCF of ~$1Bn and Capex of ~$0.5Bn with direct deliverables to the Sector’s CFO, VP FP&A, SVP Controller and Capex Committee.
- Designed sustainable and achievable OCF/Capex/OpEx Productivity targets for LatAm, ensuring Annual Operating Plans (AOPs) achievement driven by proper target setting execution.
- Finance Lead for the C&NB BU (NR ~$250mm / Controllable Contribution ~$110mm), leading annual and long-term strategic operating plans in conjunction with sales and marketing areas. Profitability turnaround was achieved as part of offsetting a new tax impact law.
- Managed and delivered strong forecasting health of P&L with Net Revenues of ~$5Bn and operating profit of ~$1Bn through the leadership and execution of financial, strategic, analytical, and tactical plans across the PMF business.
- Led efforts across core finance leadership roles to establish and standardize reporting and planning processes (i.e., P&L, Topline, SG&A, Cash flow and Capex).
Jorge earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA),EGADE Business School, Tecnologico de Monterrey, Guadalajara, Mexico, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance (BBA), Universidad Panamericana (UP), Guadalajara, Mexico. He is also pursuing a Corporate Financial Strategy development program at the University of Chicago.
