Jonathan kim

I will be sharing about me with next slogan: "The Fire must be kindled, it must flare up, and it must spread on!" The first idea is "the Fire must be kindled". My name is Jonathan Kim. Someone once asked me, "What is your job?" I told him, "Husband". He said, "Come again?" My first job is to be a "Husband" and a "Father"...... those are significant tasks God gave me. The Fire must be kindled in family. In short, I was born in Jeongsun and my lovely wife in Yeoju, Korea. We have a 14-year-old daughter, who wants to work for INTERPOL one day. The second idea is "the Fire must flare up". I faced many challenges in my life. After studying Electronics in University, I wrote a book for the next generation, what a call the "4-14 generation". As Steve Jobs once said, "You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards". Being a writer was one of my dreams. If I had known how difficult it was, I would have never become one; nevertheless, since 2003, I have invested a lot of time and money to become a writer. Life is all about trial and error. After much effort, I wrote my first book which was approximately 330 pages long. It will be published this month in Korea. In my free time, I enjoy meeting students from different cultures at Seneca College, in Toronto. I also like playing tennis and reading. The third idea is "the Fire must spread on". This is about my future. I hope to build International schools in English based countries. That is another challenge. David Platt, who is a famous American author recently wrote a book entitled Counter Culture : a Compassionate Call to Counter Culture in a World of Poverty, Same-sex marriage, Racism, Sex slavery, Immigration, Abortion, Persecution, Orphans and Pornography". He is concerned about how we should live our lives in this postmodern world. My answer to this is that these kinds of problems are the product of cultural worldviews and religious worldviews. I believe that "each worldview, whether cultural or religion, has its consequences". That is the reason why I seek to educate the next generation by being a role model in righteousness and love in several countries. In summary, I hope that my profile provides a clear vision of my family, my works and my goals.
