Joseph Schüftan

Jo was born in Colombia in 1980, in a time where the country was facing violent times. Around 1986 he discovered Metallica's Kill Em' All and he was immediately hooked on Heavy Metal Music. This resulted to be the perfect escape to the hardship Jo faced while growing up in Colombia and has shaped up who Jo is today. In February of 2010, after carefully studying the music industry, Jo realized that he had to take charge and single-handily help revitalize the Heavy Music Scene in New York City. After just 1 year and a half, Jo has established himself as a positive role model in the scene and through originality, passion, and hard work, he has become exactly what the Heavy Music scene needed: a knowledgeable person willing to educate others through his original work, and to open peoples minds.
