Passion for strings can be certainly what best describes José Arnulfo.

José Arnulfo was born in 1982 in the city of Jiquilpan in Michoacán (Mexico). As a child he began to study guitar with his father, and later with the local guitar teacher Francisco Rafael Galindo. At the age of 17, he moved to the city of Morelia in Michoacán to continue his classical guitar studies with the world renowned Argentine guitarist Victor Pellegrini at the famous conservatory of "Las Rosas".

During his eight years of studies at “Las Rosas”, Jose Arnulfo participated in master classes with renowned classical guitarists such as Leo Brouwer, Remi Boucher, Ana Vidovic, Manuel Barrueco, Denis Azabagic and David Russell among others.

Since he finished his studies for several times José Arnulfo has performed at the International Classical Guitar Festival of Morelia in Michoacán. He has also performed at the International Classical Guitar Festival of Cordoba in Spain, the Festival of “Hispanidad” in Springfield, Missouri in the United States, the Summer Festival of Isesaki in Japan, and the “Cinco de Mayo” Festival in Los Angeles.

So far José Arnulfo has recorded five CDs with the Mexican recording label - Fonorama.

In addition to performing the arrangements of famous composers, José Arnulfo has developed a personal style of instrumental music with original arrangements that are guided by his classical guitar training. José's original compositions have received excellent reviews and great public acceptance in all the countries where he has performed.

In order to satisfy the needs of different event types and sizes, José Arnulfo has prepared several performance options while maintaining the special fusion of styles ranging from Rumba and Bossa Nova to Jazz.
