Graduate in Music from the Universidad Industrial de Santander UIS, student of double bass of maestro Janusz Kopytko. He participated in the master classes of Hernando Segura Baquero and Ilko Rusev, and was a passive participant in the master classes of Gary Karr, Jonathan Camps, Ivan Stankov, and Bernard Cazaurán at the International Meeting of Double Bassists in the city of Bogotá, in 2009, and with Carlos Mendez, at the II International Academy of Symphonic Strings, in the city of Pereira. His teaching experience has been developed at the Fundación Nacional Batuta as a double bass teacher from 2009 to 2015, and as a teacher at the Instituto Universitario de la Paz from 2015 to the present. As a double bassist he has performed as the double bassist of the tango quintet Buenos Aires Tango, of the Colombian music group Nocturnal Santandereano, Lucia y Los 5Herentes and accompanist of the singer Maria Cristina Plata, also as the symphonic double bassist of the youth orchestra BATTUTA, first double bass of the orchestra BATTUTA Colombia 15 years; also the double bassist of the Band of Musicians Association Artist of Girón, Symphonic Band Mochila Cantora, Symphonic Orchestra of the UNAB and Symphonic Orchestra of the UIS, double bassist of the base group of the III, IV and V National Children's Festival of Colombian Music Hormiga de Oro in the city of Bucaramanga; Finalist of the Young Soloists Competition 2008, of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Valle del Cauca, and double bass row leader in the orchestra of the II String Academy, as part of the 6th Symphonic Festival of Pereira and is currently double bassist of the Symphony Orchestra of the UNAB. He has won titles in important competitions such as the 35th Festival Mono Núñez 2009 obtaining recognition as the BEST INSTRUMENTAL GROUP, and DIEGO SINISTERRA SANCHEZ AWARD for the best instrumental interpreter of the work of Jorge Olaya Muñoz, and in the XXIII Festival Hatoviejo COTRAFA of Andean and Llanera Colombian Music 2009, obtaining the SECOND PLACE in the Instrumental modality, and in the I BIENNIAL COLOMBIANA DE MUSICA NACIONAL 2010 TEATRO DE BELLAS ARTES, obtaining the prize WINNER OF WINNERS and participating in the 42nd FESTIVAL DEL ELECTRO in La Rioja Spain, in the 37th festival Mono Núñez 2011 obtained the recognition as the BEST INSTRUMENTAL GROUP, and the prize TO THE BEST INEDIT WORK Guabina Nocturnal.
