Jose Sosa

Jose Sosa is an undergraduate finance student at the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. He is specializing in financial investments and minoring in actuarial science.
Jose hopes to become involved in professional organizations within the Rawl’s College of Business.
He has personal stock management experience from overseeing his personal stock portfolio. He makes his stock buying and selling decisions by keeping up to date on financial news that could potentially affect his portfolio. He also has knowledge on the amount of research required to make financial sound decisions.
He worked his way up to a leadership position, while working at one of his summer jobs. This provided him insight on how you have to be tactful, understanding, and patient in order to be a good leader.
Currently, he is looking for internship opportunities that will allow him to apply classroom concepts in a professional setting.
Following his graduation in May 2016, he would like to work as a financial analyst within the risk management sector.
