José (Baptista) Coelho, PhD

I am an Invited Assistant Professor at FCUL since 2018, and a researcher at LaSIGE (Large-Scale Informatics Systems Laboratory) since March 2010. I've completed my PhD on September 2018. I have previously worked as a Teaching Assistant at ESHTE and at University of Lisbon for 1,5 and 4 years respectively.

My research is based around Human-Computer Interaction topics with focus on Social Network Services, Television, Multimodal Interfaces and Active Ageing.

My other activities are mainly related to poetry and music, I've released my first poetry book called "O Transplantado e o Fim|gimento" in June 2012. I'm also a music explorer, and created an online music magazine focused on new and (mainly) unsigned alternative music acts, called Where the Music Meets.

I'm a Sportinguista (Sporting CP fan) who likes to swim and cook. But not both at the same time.
