Hi everyone, my name is José Barrales. I was born in Concepción, Chile. But, currently I'm living in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA, where I'm pursuing my Ph.D. in Economics at The University of Utah.

My research interests are in Macroeconomics.

My personal interests are:

  1. Music: Progressive Metal!!!. My favorite band are Symphony X, Dream Theater, and Circus Maximus.
  2. Series: Game of Throne and The Big Bang Theory.
  3. Movies: Matrix I, II, III; The Hobbit; The ghost writter, and well, any other which should include either science fiction or drama.
