Mr. Hermanns has had a long career in the financial sector which has involved both corporate and private banking starting out in Frankfurt, Germany early in his career. He was then recruited and gained additional experience in the banking industry while working for many years in Toronto, Canada. He was then transferred to the Bahamas and continued his banking career where he gained more valuable years of experience.
In addition to working in the financial sector Mr. Hermanns has had memberships with the German-Canadian Chamber of Commerce, German-American Chamber of Commerce, German Canadian Professional Association, the Hong Kong Canada Business Association and German Canadian Lawyers association.
Mr. Hermanns always had the ultimate goal from early in his career to eventually venture outside of the banking sector. As Consultant in International Trade and Development, he now has the opportunity to pursue and explore new and exciting business ventures.
Based on his extensive experience and network within the Caribbean as well as internationally, Mr. Hermanns is in a position to assist and advise individuals and companies on business opportunities worldwide and in the Caribbean.
Mr. Hermanns also serves as Honorary Consul for the Federal Republic of Germany in the Bahamas. He has helped hundreds of German residents and Germans visiting the islands of the Bahamas in his capacity as Honorary Consul for the past 14 years.
