Josef Najar

Josef Najar has served as a director of Credit Suisse in New York since 2011. As a senior member of the five-person investment consultancy group, he is responsible for all aspects of investment solutions and coordination between different departments within the firm. With his guidance, Credit Suisse advises on more than $1 billion in invested assets. In the past, Josef Najar worked as an associate at Lehman Brothers and as a vice president at Barclays Capital.
Mr. Najar studied economics at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. While working toward his bachelor’s degree at Hamilton he was accepted into a highly regarded one-year economics program at the London School of Economics. After acquiring his degree and completing his work in London, he returned to New York and enrolled in an MBA program at the NYU Stern School of Business.
When he is not working, Josef Najar continues to support Hamilton College and other academic institutions, such as the Collegiate School and the Nightingale School. He also enjoys contributing to the Central Park Conservancy, the Israeli Student Education Foundation (ISEF), and the Richard & Mica Hadar Foundation.
