José Ignacio Aguirre Álvarez,commonly known as Nacho Aguirre,is a Spanish entrepreneur and investor with a background in business leadership, sector consolidation, and private investment. His official website is nachoaguirre.com.

He spent over a decade in executive and board roles within the telecommunications sector, serving as Chief Executive Officer of Avatel Telecom. During this period, he led a long-term growth strategy based on the acquisition and integration of more than 150 local operators, contributing to the expansion of fiber infrastructure across underserved and rural areas in Spain.

The company became one of the country’s leading alternative telecom operators and was later sold in a successful transaction.

Following this stage, he shifted his professional focus toward investment, governance, and strategic support for business projects.

He is currently the founder and partner of VANTIA Capital, an investment firm with presence in Madrid, Andorra, and Luxembourg, including a Luxembourg-based RAIF structure, focused on long-term investment and strategic accompaniment. He also serves on the board of several companies, including projects developed in collaboration with public and private institutions.
