José Hernández-Gaitán is a Mexican Industrial Designer and photographer. He studied at Universidad Iberoamericana and earned a B.A. in Industrial Design in 2001. He has lived in cities such as Toronto, San Francisco, New York, Mexico City and currently Mérida, Yucatán.

He worked for several years in advertising designing for brands like Mercedes-Benz and publishing design objects in magazines like ELLE. While in advertising, he studied Photography for Motion Pictures (2006). In 2012 he studied Portraiture and Advanced Lighting Techniques at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He also studied Marketing at the New York University.

Having a mixed training in design and photography, allows José to have a unique vision and understanding on how to create powerful images in different formats and environments.
