Jose Mojica has had a camera since his parents gave him his first Polaroid at age 8. Since then it has been his passion to tell stories either through his films or through his novels and short stories. Along with his wife, Laurel, he has written, produced, directed, and edited four short films in the last four years. His short film Monster won second place and audience choice at the DWIFF 48-hour film challenge. Poison earned the award for Best Cinematography and Best Drama at the Detroit 48-hr film competition. Now, Jose is working on a suspenseful web series called FRAMED and on the adaptation of his novel The Slasher of Flopsville.
