José Pedro Martínez Pérez

I was born in Santa Pola, a town in the Spanish Mediterranean, the birthplace of paella and home of the sun. I am fond of music and media arts. I'm always interested in journalism, especially in photography and radio. When I was 17 I had my first opportunity in a medium of communication. It was at a local radio station where I was hired to direct a sports-news program. I felt quite how and gradually fell in love with journalism and radio. Later, I started the university studies that I finished now: journalism. During the studies, I worked in various media, print and digital, and have worked in college radio. But my most important job was as a reporter for public radio in the city of Valencia, for which I had to go and live in Valencia capital. As he had already acquired much experience in radio, I decided to extend my creative abilities in photography. During the past year I have been living in Mexico thanks to the award of an international scholarship. At this time in a country so different I've learned a lot about my second passion: photography, but mostly I found that journalism is and will be my way of life... but I need oportunities!!
