Joseph Collomy

Joseph Collomy is a DJ and Head of multiple departments for online radio station The Dark Radio. Joseph stated his career within the music industry in 2006 by interning for a radio station centered on the adult voice of video gaming. From then on he has gone onto become the Assistant Station Manager of the legally licensed Dark Radio. Since then he has been earning his bachelors degree in Music Business to further develop not only his abilities in the industry but also to enhance his talents with music promotions, advertising and distribution.

Joseph has interviewed a number of independent artists and bands for The Dark, including but not limited Transistor, Evolutionary War, Jesse Brown, Judge Unger, and Dream Aria just to name a few. The “Eyes On” show focuses on spotlighting these artists and bands talents, spreading their music to other reaches of the globe, and providing another format in which to promote themselves beyond a profile in social media through the act of live broadcasting. Joseph is also responsible for expanding the radio station beyond their full staff of DJs to exploring other venues such as the Google Plus Hangouts, which are held once a month in which DJs, Station Ambassadors and others gather to discuss topics ranging from Geek Culture to Current Events.
