Joseph Gellene

Joseph Gellene is a gregarious man that approaches everything he does with careful thought. He is devoted to putting his all into his work, he enjoys keeping fit, and enriching the community in which he lives.

Joseph attended St. Peter’s University. He graduated in 1999 with a Political Science Degree. He was a Pi Sigma Alpha (political science honor society) member and a Law Club member. While there, he ran cross-country track, both indoor and outdoor, for St Peter’s University. He was a mid-distance runner, running the 1 mile, 2 mile, 5k, and 10k races. Joseph's love of keeping fit and engaging in sports has stayed with him in the years since. His preferred hobbies now are soaking up the sun while golfing and hitting the slopes with a chillier sport: skiing.

In his professional life, Joseph has previous experience as a licensed banker and financial advisor, while his current role is the Medical Sales Representative for Genesis Laboratory Management. Genesis Laboratory Management specializes in histology for GI and Urologists, PCR testing for UTI, Gastroenteritis, upper respiratory infection, and Covid infections. They are a full-service molecular diagnostic and anatomic pathology laboratory, they have a team of over 20 dedicated pathologists known across the country as leaders in their field, and they employ a fleet of medical couriers to serve the New Jersey area and parts of New York.

Joseph's role at Genesis Laboratory Management as their Medical Sales Representative is to work with doctors, clinics, facilities and hospitals that are interested in acquiring services from Genesis Laboratory Management. It is clear from client feedback the Joseph excels in his role. His superiors often receive praise from clients about Joseph, referring to him as extremely easy to work with, professional, responsive, attentive to detail, ready to help, and someone who follows through. One client even went on to say that Genesis Laboratory Management is "extremely lucky to have someone like him representing [the] organization. Nobody works harder or does it better than Joe".
